A popular and highly requested keynote speaker, Julie Barnhill, is coming to Retreat to the Rock this year. Julie is known as a warm and charismatic communicator, and has been interviewed by Oprah, CNN and Dr. James Dobson on Focus on the Family. She has also spoken internationally to groups, both live and on radio and television, and has authored 11 books. A persuasive and effective communicator, she is able to bring positive life change in those she leads. Julie will be speaking on both Friday evening and Saturday. Come and enjoy her famous humor in addition to learning of her love for the Lord.

Rachel West Kramer
(workshop leader and special music)

Rachel West Kramer will present our special music this year in addition to teaching a workshop. As a Music artist and speaker with Hands of Love Ministry, she sings and speaks at various retreats, concerts and events. Rachel has even had the honor of singing for President and First Lady Bush at the National Prayer Breakfast in 2003.

Linda Parsons
(workshop leader)

Linda Parsons came to the Illinois Valley in 1974 when her husband, Tom, accepted the pastorate position of the First Baptist Church of Oglesby. For 21 years she developed roots here raising a family, assisting the church, teaching Bible studies and becoming a Retreat to The Rock board member. In 1995, God moved Linda's family to Columbus, Ohio, where her husband taught at the Maranatha church and she became active in the Women's, Children's and Small Group Ministery.

Carol Campbell
(worship leader)

Carol was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania. After graduating Mansfield University, the Lord led her to Schaumburg Christian School where she met her husband, Mark. She has been a music teacher at Calvary Christian Academy in Normal, IL for 27 years.
